Nicola Selby gets a picture perfect dance floor from Harlequin

Wednesday 27th February 2013
Dance photographer and former dancer Nicola Selby gave her stylish new photography studio the perfect base for success with a world-class sprung dance floor system from Harlequin Floors.

Training as a dancer until the age of 19, the University of Central Lancashire graduate translated her passion to dance photography and set up her own business 5 years ago after injury cut short her career. Using her experience, and with the safety of her clientèle of utmost importance, Nicola turned to the trusted reputation of Harlequin Floors for her new Velocity Studio.

Described by the Lancashire Evening Post as ‘a world away from dreary, cold and uninviting studios of the past’, the stylish Dance Photography Studio in Chorley has gone on to receive excellent reviews from Nicola’s clients – dancers and performers of a wide range of ages, disciplines and dance styles.

“One of the things they do appreciate is that they know I actually care about the dancers, because I have been a dancer,” she said. “Safety is paramount for dancers and that is why we have the Harlequin floor.”
