Harlequin Floors, world leaders in advanced technology flooring for dance and the performing arts, has launched a new type of sprung floor system – Harlequin Vitality – flooring so versatile that anyone can install it; even those with only basic DIY skills.

The system has been especially developed for small dance schools or customers who may want to convert a garage or barn into a dance studio.  It is designed for permanent installation and sold in panels 0.6m x 2.4m in size and weighs approximately 20kg, making it light and easy to fix. To complete the installation, customers will need to choose a vinyl or hardwood top surface from the Harlequin range.

Harlequin Vitality has been tested for point loading and shock absorption and meets testing standard BS EN 14904:2006 which is the industry accreditation for excellence for this type of flooring.

The system also offers all the benefits and advantages of a conventional Harlequin floor and because it is so easy to install, it now means that it has never been easier to buy and fix the best, making it an ideal choice for dance schools across the country.

Customers can now log on to Harlequin’s YouTube channel for helpful instruction videos, which are broken down into six bite-size sections.

Harlequin has become the market leader through product innovation, expertise and by developing close relationships with dancers and industry experts who have been demanding a quality flooring solution for some time for smaller dance schools. Harlequin Vitality meets that need.

It means that with Harlequin’s top quality dance floors will no longer be confined to the leading dance schools and professional dance companies. This great value, high performance solution will also ensure teaching and performance of dance, from junior level to professional, can be conducted as safely as possible.
