Harlequin shines at Myer fashion event
When Sydney, Australia’s leading production and events company, Mr&Mrs Fish were retained to produce the Myer Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Launch, they turned to a Harlequin high gloss floor for its dramatic visual effect.
Staged at Carriageworks in Sydney, a canopy of gigantic silver palm fronds swayed above the runway on which 60 models showcased 270 new season looks by Myer’s stable of leading Australian and international designers. The set called for close to 200m2 of Harlequin Hi-Shine vinyl flooring in grey, including a runway 40m long x 4.5m wide and an entry walkway. With its scuff-resistant mirror-like ‘wet look’ finish, Harlequin Hi-Shine has caught the attention of production companies and set designers around the world. Neither is it the first time Mr&Mrs Fish has incorporated a Harlequin Hi-Shine floor into their productions in Sydney and Melbourne, previously using black, white and most recently red versions on other projects in what has become a well established relationship with Harlequin Floors in Australia.
